What Is Contingency Contract?
Contingency Contract (CC) originated in the original Arknights as a recurring high-risk endgame season — a fixed pool of stages stacked with optional "Risk" modifiers that buff enemies in exchange for higher rewards. Players competed to clear the highest combined risk for ranking, medals, and cosmetic furniture.
The "Preview" tag traditionally signals an introductory or experimental run — a smaller pool of stages where Hypergryph tests the mode's pacing before a full season. Expect the Endfield iteration to keep the same DNA: stackable risks, ranked stages, and prestige-tier rewards.
