ESSENCE PLANNER
终末地基质规划器
Smart Weapon Essence Farming Optimizer
About this tool
The Essence Planner solves the per-run essence math: given a set of weapons you want to upgrade, which dungeons and which attribute locks let you co-farm the maximum number of weapons in one session? The tool understands every weapon's valid base-attribute pools and additional-attribute locks, then computes the largest compatible weapon groups and the exact lock strategy to use when you enter the dungeon.
Use this tool after you have decided which weapons you want — the Essence Farming Tool helps you pick which dungeons to run, while the Essence Planner optimizes what to do once you are inside. The Planner also surfaces shared essence entries across weapons, which is essential for stacking progress toward the Ultimate Weapon Medal rank without re-grinding the same essence twice.
What is the Essence Planner?
The Essence Planner (终末地基质规划器) is a powerful web tool designed to help Arknights: Endfield players optimize their weapon essence farming routes. Select multiple weapons and get smart recommendations for co-farming dungeons efficiently.
⚔️ Key Features
- • Multi-Weapon Selection: Select multiple weapons you want to farm for simultaneously
- • Smart Recommendations: Automatically generates optimal farming routes based on dungeon pools and locking rules
- • Conflict Detection: Warns when base attributes exceed 3 types and highlights conflicts
- • Entry Comparison: Compare weapons with same entries for "Ultimate Weapon Medal" rank progression
🔄 How It Works
- 1. Select Weapons: Choose weapons from the searchable card list
- 2. Exclude Unwanted: Mark weapons you don't want to include
- 3. Get Recommendations: View optimized farming schemes with lock strategies
- 4. Co-Farm Efficiently: See which weapons can be farmed together in the same dungeons
📋 Farming Rules (Brief)

Frequently Asked Questions
What are 'base attributes' and 'locking' in essence farming?
Each essence drop has a Base attribute (one of 5 types: ATK, HP, DEF, Crit, etc.) and one or two Additional/Skill attributes. When you enter a dungeon, the game picks 3 of the 5 base attribute types as that run's drop pool — outputs are guaranteed to be from those 3. For additional attributes, you can 'lock' one of two options, and the locked attribute is guaranteed to appear on the drop. The Essence Planner's job is to pick the right lock combination so multiple weapons you want share the same valid pool.
Can I co-farm essences for any two weapons together?
No. Two weapons can be co-farmed in the same dungeon only if both can satisfy the same base-attribute pool (3 of 5 types) and the same locking pattern for additional attributes. The Planner detects conflicts: if you select 4 weapons that collectively need 4+ base attributes, it warns you that no single dungeon will cover all four. In that case, the tool suggests an optimal split — for example, run dungeon A for weapons 1+2 and dungeon B for weapons 3+4.
Why is one of my selected weapons highlighted as a conflict?
Conflicts trigger when your weapon selection collectively requires more than 3 base attribute types, or when two weapons need contradictory additional-attribute locks. The Planner flags the specific weapon driving the conflict so you can remove it or move it to a separate farming session. A common case: pairing a Crit-DMG-focused weapon with a HP-tank weapon usually conflicts because their base attribute pools don't overlap, even though both are otherwise valid co-farm targets.
What is the 'Ultimate Weapon Medal' rank and why does the tool mention it?
Ultimate Weapon Medal is the in-game progression rank earned by accumulating high-roll essences on a weapon. Some essence entries are equivalent across multiple weapons (same Base + Additional combo), so farming for one weapon can simultaneously bank entries that count toward another weapon's medal rank. The Planner's Entry Comparison feature highlights these shared entries, helping you stack medal progress across multiple weapons during a single farm run.
Is the Essence Planner data official or community-sourced?
Community-sourced and open-source (AGPL-3.0, maintained by 璨梦踏月 at end.canmoe.com). The dungeon pools, attribute rules, and locking mechanics are reverse-engineered from in-game observation, and edge cases — particularly newly-added weapons in the latest patch — may have minor discrepancies for a few days after release. Report inconsistencies through the GitHub repo. The core locking rules have been stable since the v1.0 release and are well-tested.
