  • Minimum production: ~3 gourds/min needed for engraved medal over full event

The Palm-Top Savior event is live, and with it comes the Xiranite Gourd production marathon. This event rewards consistent factory output over raw speed - a 6 gourds/min setup completes all objectives in ~9 days with comfortable margin.

Event Overview

Palm-Top Savior follows a three-step production and exchange loop: produce Xiranite Gourds, trade them for event currencies, then spend those currencies in the Goods Exchange shop.

Step 1: Xiranite Gourd Production

Xiranite Gourd production recipe - combine Experimental Xiranite Bottles and Parts at the Packaging Unit

Xiranite Gourds are produced at the Packaging Unit using Experimental Xiranite Bottles and Experimental Xiranite Parts. Check the Database - Item Files for the complete formula.

Step 2: Fruits of Altruism Certs

Trading Xiranite Gourds rewards Wuling Stock Bills and Fruits of Altruism Certs

Trading Xiranite Gourds gives both Wuling Stock Bills and Fruits of Altruism Certs. Both currencies are used for different event rewards.

Step 3: Goods Exchange

Event Goods Exchange shop - trade Fruits of Altruism Certs for rewards

At the Event Center, go to AIC Support: Palm-Top Savior event, then enter Goods Exchange to trade Fruits of Altruism Certs for goods including the engraved medal, materials, and cosmetic items.

Optimization Tips

Bottle Bottleneck

Bottles produce slower than Parts even with equal machine counts. The 2:1 Xiranite-to-Bottle ratio means each Moulding Unit works harder. If your Assembler is waiting on Bottles:

  • Add an extra Moulding Unit
  • Prioritize Belt output from Bottle machines
  • Check belt connections for clogs

Forge Planning

Plan Forge of the Sky recipes carefully before committing slots. If you can’t place a Forge, you’ve already built the maximum allowed. Delete an existing Forge building (not just the recipe) to free a slot.

Power Bootstrap

Use transferred Valley IV batteries to bootstrap power until LC Wuling Battery production stabilizes. This prevents blackouts when adding new production lines.

Belt Management

  • Use Depot Bus for input Xiranite
  • Use direct belts for intermediate products to prevent clogs
  • Monitor belt flow rates - aim for 0.5 items/s per belt segment

Recipe Unlock

Event recipes don’t appear in the Database tab initially. You must:

  1. Wait for event to go live on your server
  2. Talk to event NPCs to unlock recipes
  3. Complete any intro quests

Asia players have access now. NA/EU players must wait for server launch.

Xiranite Sourcing Strategies

Turn off Heavy Xiranite factory temporarily - all normal Xiranite goes to Gourds instead. Zero new infrastructure needed. This is the most efficient approach for players with existing Heavy Xiranite production - simply disable your Heavy Xiranite Forges and redirect the Xiranite flow.

Option B: Add Miners

Add 1-2 extra Xiranite miners specifically for the event. Keep existing production running. More flexible long-term and doesn’t disrupt other factories.

Option C: Hybrid Surge

Run dual Gourd lines at 12-16/min while maintaining battery production. Use V4 SC/HC battery stockpiles to power the temporary surge. Many players report 16-18/min setups clearing the shop in ~1 day.

Analysis: Most players will find 6-8/min setups more than sufficient. The event has significant leeway built in - you don’t need to over-optimize. Phase 2 (Jade Gourd from Heavy Xiranite) is now live with blueprints available above.

Common Mistakes & Fixes

Recipes Not Unlocking

Problem: Can’t find Xiranite Gourd recipe in Database tab
Solution: Recipes only unlock after event goes live AND you talk to event NPCs. Wait for server launch (April 28) and complete the event intro quest.

Assembler Jamming

Problem: Assembler stops producing, belts back up
Solution: Verify 2:1 ratio - each Assembler needs 5 Bottles + 5 Parts. Add extra Moulding Unit if Bottles are slower than Parts. Check all belt connections.

Power Blackout

Problem: Entire factory shuts down after adding Gourd line
Solution: Check power headroom before placement. Single line needs ~400 power, dual line ~800. Add Thermal Banks or temporarily reduce other load.

Wrong Xiranite Type

Problem: Using Heavy Xiranite instead of normal
Solution: Event uses NORMAL Xiranite only. Heavy Xiranite has separate recipes. Check Database tab after event unlock.

Region Code Mismatch

Problem: Asia blueprint code doesn’t work on NA/EU server
Solution: Blueprint codes are region-locked. Wait for NA/EU specific codes or manually recreate layout using specifications in this guide.

Event Currency & Rewards

Fruits of Altruism Certs

MetricValue
Gourd sell price10 Certs per Gourd
Shop buyout cost423,000 Certs (42,300 Gourds)
Engraved medal~800,000 Certs total
Phase 2 Shop buyout1,817,000 Certs (181,700 Jade Gourds)
Total Shop (P1+P2)2,240,000 Certs (~224,000 Gourds)

Gourds also sell for Wuling Stock Bills at boosted rates at specific outposts (SKF and CRS reported). Stock Bill limit won’t be a concern - outpost earnings automatically cover Gourd purchases.

Shop Buyout Strategy

Community calculations show the full shop costs 423,000 Certs. At 10 Certs per Gourd, that’s 42,300 Gourds needed. Even at a conservative 6 gourds/min, you’ll clear the shop in ~3 days with zero stress.

The engraved medal requires approximately 800,000 Certs total. A 6 gourds/min setup completes this in ~9 days, well within the 15-day event window. Phase 2 will add additional earning opportunities.

Key Deadlines

  • Event ends: May 13, 2026 at 16:00 (server time) - Last chance to submit Gourds
  • Goods Exchange closes: May 19, 2026 at 04:00 (server time) - Spend all remaining currencies
  • Auto-conversion warning: Unsubmitted goods automatically convert to Wuling Stock Bills and Fruits of Altruism Certs, then mail to you. Submit everything before the deadline.

Final Thoughts

The Palm-Top Savior event rewards consistency over intensity. A 6 gourds/min setup started on day 1 finishes in ~9 days with zero stress. Even if you start late, a 3 gourds/min minimum keeps you on track for the engraved medal.

Key takeaways:

  • Start production ASAP on April 28
  • Monitor Bottle production - it’s the common bottleneck
  • Submit everything before May 13 at 16:00
  • Spend all currencies before May 19 at 04:00
