WORDLE

Guess the 5-letter word in 6 tries. Use your keyboard to type guesses and press Enter.

About the Endfield Hub Wordle

This is the Endfield Hub take on the classic five-letter word puzzle: six guesses, daily reset, green and yellow feedback, no login, no paywall, no ads pushed into the gameplay. We added Wordle (and its harder sibling Quordle) as a side feature for readers who want a quick puzzle break between patches, daily checklist clears, or factory loop maintenance. Mechanics mirror the standard Wordle ruleset, but the word list is curated independently.

Guesses are evaluated entirely in your browser, so streaks, win rates, and daily history are stored locally — clearing cookies will reset your statistics. If today's word stumps you, come back tomorrow for a fresh puzzle, or jump into Quordle to solve four boards at once in nine guesses. The games have no in-game connection to Arknights: Endfield; they are simply a low-pressure side activity hosted on the hub.

About the Endfield word puzzles

The Play section hosts two daily word puzzles built around the Arknights: Endfield vocabulary — operator names, faction terms, item names, location callouts, and other game-specific words you pick up across the Talos-II setting. Wordle and Quordle are themed re-implementations of the popular guess-the-word format: a single hidden word per day for Wordle, four parallel hidden words for Quordle. Both puzzles share the same daily seed across all players, so everyone in the community is solving the same word on the same day — leaderboard chatter and spoiler discussions on Discord and Reddit are anchored to that shared seed.

Puzzles refresh once per day on a fixed UTC schedule. Your guess history, streak counter, and result share-string are stored entirely in your browser's localStorage — there is no account login, no server-side leaderboard, and no data transmitted to Endfield Hub when you play. Clearing browser data or switching devices resets your streak; this is a known constraint of the no-account design.

How each puzzle is scored

  • Wordle — one hidden word, six guesses. Each guess returns colour-coded feedback per letter: green for correct letter in correct position, yellow for correct letter in wrong position, gray for letters not in the word. Win condition is solving the word inside six guesses; longer streaks compound your stat history.
  • Quordle — four hidden words solved in parallel, nine guesses total. Each guess plays simultaneously against all four target words, so the feedback grid is four times as dense as Wordle. Win condition is solving all four words inside nine guesses; partial wins (three out of four) still count for streak history.

Word list scope

The valid-guess dictionary contains common English words plus a curated list of Arknights: Endfield-specific terms — operator names (Yvonne, Perlica, Rossi, Camille, Xaihi, Ardelia), faction terms (Wuling, Pogranichnik, Akekuri), location names (Talos, Wuling, Qingbo, Valley), gameplay terms (Stagger, Essence, Artificing, Sanity), and event-specific vocabulary that lands during major patches. Hidden words are drawn exclusively from the Endfield-themed subset; common English words are valid guesses but never the day's answer.

Streak mechanics and daily reset

Streaks count consecutive days where you successfully solved the day's puzzle. Missing a day resets the streak; partial solves (Quordle three-of-four) do not break the streak but also do not count as a full clear for the streak counter. The daily reset fires at 00:00 UTC; if you typically play in the late evening of your local timezone, you have a known window between local midnight and 00:00 UTC where the previous day's puzzle is still live.

Share strings and spoilers

After completing a puzzle, the share button copies a spoiler-safe emoji grid to your clipboard — the same format popularised by the original Wordle. The grid reveals your guess pattern but not the answer itself, so it is safe to post in Discord or social media without spoiling the day's word for anyone who has not yet played. Quordle share strings encode all four parallel solves, with separators between each word's grid.

No accounts, no tracking: the puzzles are deliberately stateless on our end. We do not run a global leaderboard, we do not track which players solved fastest, and we do not aggregate your guess data. The puzzle is just a daily Endfield-themed brain teaser — keep your own streak and share at will.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this Wordle different from the New York Times version?

Mechanically the rules are identical — six guesses, five letters, green / yellow / gray feedback — but our Wordle is a free, ad-light browser game that resets on its own schedule and never gates you behind a login or paywall. It is a side feature we host so Endfield Hub readers have a quick puzzle break between patches. The word list is curated separately from any official Wordle source.

Do these games have anything to do with Arknights: Endfield?

No direct connection. Wordle and Quordle are general word puzzles, not Endfield-themed crossovers. They live on Endfield Hub as community side-features because a lot of our readers like quick puzzles and we wanted to add value beyond strict game content. Future Endfield-themed mini-games may live in the same /play directory, but the current word puzzles use the standard English dictionary.

How often does the puzzle reset?

A fresh word loads each calendar day in your local timezone. If you miss a day, the previous day's puzzle does not roll over — you start clean on the next one. Streak tracking and statistics are stored locally in your browser, so clearing cookies or switching devices will reset your history.

What is Quordle and how does it compare?

Quordle plays four Wordle boards simultaneously with nine total guesses. Every letter you type fires into all four boards at once, so the strategy shifts from chasing single words to managing letter coverage across boards. It is significantly harder than standard Wordle. Try it at /play/quordle once you have a reliable Wordle solve.

Are there competitive leaderboards or multiplayer modes?

Not currently. Both Wordle and Quordle on Endfield Hub are single-player puzzles with local statistics only. We may add optional sharing in the future — a copy-to-clipboard share string like the original Wordle — but accounts, global leaderboards, and ranked play are not on the roadmap. The games are intentionally a low-pressure break, not a competitive ladder.
