6★ DPS Heat Sword

Premier AoE burst DPS with infinite scaling. Her Ultimate provides sustained Heat damage that can cross waves. P0 viable - works well even without promotion. Weakness: Damage is weak when Ultimate is down.

Build Focus

Heat DMG, Arts Intensity, Basic Attack DMG, Ultimate uptime, Ultimate Gain Efficiency

Skill Priority

Ultimate > Battle Skill > Combo Skill > Normal Attack

Playstyle

Build Melting Flame stacks (max 4) using Battle Skill and Combo Skill procs. Use Ultimate when ready for massive sustained damage with enhanced basic attacks. Her Ultimate has infinite scaling - longer duration = more damage. P0 viable with excellent AoE clear. Weak outside Ultimate windows, so manage cooldowns carefully.

Laevatain's BiS gear set. Massive Heat DMG boost after applying Combustion (which her Battle Skill does). The Arts Intensity stat also boosts her damage significantly.

Optimization Logic

Prioritize Arts Intensity and Heat DMG substats. Gauntlets T1 and Pyrometer are best pieces for her kit.

Heat DMG Dealt +16%. When the wielder casts an ultimate, the wielder gains Arts DMG Dealt +28% for 20s.

Why: Best F2P 6-star option for Laevatain. At max refinement, competes with low-refinement Forgeborn Scathe. Heat DMG and Arts DMG both scale her damage well.

Note: Excellent F2P endgame weapon. Only ~10-15% behind signature at max refinement.

Final Build Optimization

Rotation

Battle Skill (Smouldering Fire) → Build Melting Flame stacks (4 max) → Ultimate (Twilight) when ready → Spam enhanced Basic Attacks during Ultimate → Repeat

Timing

Time Ultimate with team buffs and when enemies are grouped. Laevatain's Ultimate has infinite scaling - the longer it lasts, the more damage it deals. Prioritize killing enemies during Ultimate to extend its duration (up to +7s at max potential).

Team Compositions

Laevatain + Any available sub-DPS + Defensive support + Healer

Min-Max Tips

Always reach 4 Melting Flame stacks before using Ultimate - this ignores enemy Heat Resistance

During Ultimate, prioritize basic attacks over skills - the enhanced BATK multipliers are massive

Laevatain's Ultimate can cross waves - position to hit multiple enemy groups

Time your Combo Skill (Seethe) when enemies have Combustion for bonus damage and Ultimate Energy

Keep Melting Flame stacks active - they last 20s and provide significant Heat Resistance ignore

P0 Laevatain is completely viable - her core mechanics work without any promotions

P4 reduces Ultimate cost by 15% - significant for more frequent burst windows

P5 extends Ultimate duration when killing enemies during it - aim for high mob density areas
