Catcher Weapons & Gear Progression
Comprehensive progression guide from level 1 to 80+
4-star Defender with protective capabilities and Physical Status application. Provides shields to allies through Combo Skill, applies Weaken to reduce enemy damage, and can trigger Vulnerability through his Ultimate. While outclassed by higher-rarity Defenders, he's a solid early-game tank who can protect teammates and enable Physical teams.

Battle Skill > Ultimate > Combo Skill > Normal Attack
Use Battle Skill as a parry to trigger Vulnerability on enemy attacks. Ultimate applies Weaken for team protection and Vulnerability for damage boost. Combo Skill provides shields to Catcher and one ally when triggered. Focus on timing Battle Skill to get hit for maximum effectiveness.

Final Build Optimization
Battle Skill (Rigid Interdiction) → Wait for enemies to attack while shield is up → Combo Skill (Timely Suppression) when triggered → Ultimate (Textbook Assault) for Weaken + Vulnerability → Repeat
Activate Battle Skill right before taking damage to trigger parry and Vulnerability. Use Ultimate whenever available for Weaken. Combo Skill triggers passively - position Catcher in front to protect allies.
